Meterage: 225m or 246 yards per 100g/ 3.5 oz skein

Recommended needle size: 3.25mm - 4.5mm depending on the gauge for your project.

For jumpers: 3.25mm - 4.0mm

For shawls: 4.5mm - 5mm (creates a looser fabric with more drape)

The Galah or rose breasted cockatoo is smart, adaptable and a common sight in urban Australia, they are also beautiful and loud - we love beautiful and loud! This dove grey glazed with light to dark dusky pink is absolutely stunning and depending on your choice of use can be a gentle colour change or absolutely popping. Perfect. 

This is a difficult colour to photograph as the dusky red glaze with grey halo shows as more red and less grey on camera but it is a beautiful effect that makes the red rich but a little more subtle. Give it a go, it’s gorgeous. 

This base is 100% Superwash Merino, soft, bouncy, so touchable and perfect for everything from hats to jumpers.

Recommended care: Can be machine washed cool on a gentle cycle but we recommend hand washing to preserve the vibrancy of the dye.
