Scotland’s national animal, occasionally spotted in the quiet places & international reigning champion of ‘mythical’ creatures - The Unicorn. We never intended to have a Unicorn colourway in pink but clearly it intended to be made, so we listened. This light sky blue base is glazed in twist in both directions with a light purple to give a beautiful lilac pattern similar to speckling patches on the outside strands with the inside left untouched.
The Decadence base is our favourite base for light jumpers, shawls and garments that benefit from absolutely incredible softness, drape and lustre- It’s called Decadence for a reason. When the light hits it the colours look jewel like and catch the eye, the drape makes this conform beautifully and the softness, well, we talk a lot about ‘touchability’ here but this is a pleasure to work with, to wear and it’s almost impossible not to stroke. This is luxury that will last. We like it so much we have 2 weights (this fingering weight and DK).
While we do our best to keep our colours consistent each hand dyed yarn is one of a kind so we advise alternating skeins in a multi-skein project. See FAQs for more information.
